Director of Royal African Events and Operations
OIGO has a wide range of events specifically designated towards Africa, Europe and across the world. It hopes to deliver identified events in its portfolio which cover international summit/awards ceremony, conferences, seminars, workshops, VIP dinners, public lectures, etc. Omotayo is the OIGO Director of Events and Operations with strong aspirations of managing OIGO growing events portfolio. He joins OIGO management in February 2019 with strong project management skills from his previous managerial experience.
He is positioned to work with OIGO COO as he plans all elements around an event including budgets, staff, risk assessment, space, stakeholder management, and quality assurance. With OIGO international presence, Omotayo is competent to oversee the successful delivery of its reputation enhancing events. He will lead, create planning structure in conjunction with the office of the COO, manage and deliver all operations and logistics aspects of OIGO events whether in Africa, America, Europe, or Asia to ensure efficient, effective, professional and high-quality service delivery of events and operations.
Omotayo obtained a Bachelor of science degree B.Sc. (Hons) Chemical Engineering and has a background exposure in project management, strategic operational management, and safety supervision in a Geotechnical, Drilling and Pile Installation Company. He has undertaken site supervision of CFA rig, supervision of soil test, logistic and procurement, and working with professional and engineers in achieving a designated scope under a given schedule. He leverages on his creative, innovation, critical, thinking, technology savvy, leadership, teamwork and human relations skills to meticulously undertake this immense task for His Imperial Majesty (H.I.M).
As a former Student Union President of the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Omotayo brings on board a positive energy environment leadership acumen, management skills and administrative dexterities.
