RHODA ZIONE ALALE
Rhoda Zione Alale is a scholar-in-residence at the Center for Health Equity and Urban Science Education at Columbia University Teachers College, as well as a distinguished alumna of its Research Group on Health Disparities. She is the principal investigator of the MiChi Health EpiCenter Project, Healthy SMART Homes 2020 and has been awarded for her work in engineering and environmental innovations related to electrical safety nanotechnologies. Her technologies are now being used to design “therapeutic homes’ to aid in reducing seizures in adults and children. She was a nurse consultant to the White House five Presidential administrations and also served under President Obama administration on the environmental and Energy Committee.
